This KS2 Christmas Eve Poetry resource has been designed for pupils to complete sentences based on their knowledge and understanding of how language works, all with a festive twist!

Pupils will investigate spelling and opportunities to enhance their writing style by unscrambling words or filling in missing letters and using these words to complete Christmas-themed poems.

We recommend children work in pairs or small groups to discuss with each other about how best to complete the sentences and discuss ways to structure these to form a cohesive text.
